Sadness as popular cafe closes its doors

first_imgThe owner of the Buttercup Tearoom in Ballybofey has today announced that she is closing the business.The quaint cafe, tucked off Main Street Ballybofey, has been opened for three years.Owned by chef Kerry Lee Rowan, the 24-seater cafe was a popular place for tea, treats and homemade specials. Ms Rowan announced on Facebook that it’s time to start a new chapter.“Sometimes in life we have to make choices , hard ones. But these choices will change our lives for the better so for that reason we are not renewing the lease and today we closed our little Tearoom,” Ms Rowan wrote.“We have had 3 good busy years and have made so many new friends from far and near. I’m so proud of myself for achieving my dream and it was a huge success.“Thanks to each and everyone of you that has walked through our doors.
